After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
This is one of those recipes that I would rate off the charts. I never felt like dealing with the turkey carcass before, but always hated to just throw it away. Trying to stretch the dollar I decided to try this soup. IT WAS WONDERFUL!! Everyone loved it! Even all 6 children! (especially with oyster crackers) Thank you SOOO much for submitting this recipe! I will always make after turkey days!!!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I needed to use up a lot of apples before they went bad, so I tried this recipe. It was much easier than making an apple pie. It was VERY sweet. I think I'll try spenda or something next time. I'm soooo glad that I took the ohers advice and did not add any water. There was PLENTY of juice as is. It was delicious!!!!!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I bought a turkey on sale after Thanksgiving and wanted to try a new recipe. I usually love a brined turkey, but was looking something without all of that work. This was a wonderful recipe! It was not quite as juicy as a brined turkey, but still wonderful!! Will make again!

Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
I've never had yorkshire pudding before, so I can't compare this to anything else. It was delicious though! You really have to let the meat rest for a WHILE so the juices won't run out when you cut it. Also, I did not really have any drippings. I used another reviewers idea to use vegetable oil. That was great, except it overflowed in the oven and smoked up my kitchen!! Please put a pan underneath! Also, I couldn't find any directions that it told how many muffin tins to prepare??? I used 6, this seemed OK. They really puffed up nicely and my husband and the kids were all calling dibs on the last one!! Thanks for the recipe!

My new favorite way to make sweet potatoes!! Make sure not to crowd your pan though or they're not as good and crunchy!! The kids loved them!!

This was OK, but not one to write in my home cookbook or make again. Maybe I didn't use a good enough wine or something? missing flavor?

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
Update: After making this again, I made sure to measure 3 cups COOKED noodles, not before cooking and it was very good, not dry-------------Review #1:Super easy, but not the best. I had to add chicken broth before cooking because it was way too thick even before cooking. Was super easy in a pinch though!
