Pumpkin Casserole

Resurrection Rolls

Raspberry Pie I

The pie was absolutely not runny. It held together even though I cut it while it was still hot (which I normally do not do). It is so important to let the filling sit for at least twenty minutes to allow the juices to come out of the berries and to allow the tapioca and corn starch to do their absorbing and thickening. I followed this recipe exactly and for my taste it was overly sweet. I would cut the sugar to no more than 1 cup next time I make this. Aside from reducing the sugar, this is an excellent recipe and I would certainly make it again.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

I made this for a big family gathering. Everyone was raving. I added green peppers, onions and garlic sauteed in butter to the mixture. I also took others' suggestion to add a tablespoon of worchestershire sauce to the ketchup topping. I used the ketchup sauce as a topping instead of putting it in the bottom. Thanks for the recipe!

Potato Soup with Fish and Cheese

This was excellent! The only changes I made were to use smoked paprika instead of the standard variety, six potatoes instead of ten and whole milk instead of half and half. Everyone raved about this soup. I will be adding this to my normal repertoire.

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

This wasn't bad, I just didn't think it was good. It didn't quite have enough spice and it didn't have a savory flavor either. I think maybe there was too much yogurt and that drowned out the flavors.

Roast Beef and Gravy

My husband and I enjoyed this. The flavor was great. I put this in the slow cooker on high for about 5 hours. I didn't think it was particularly tender. It certainly wasn't bad, but I expected so much more based on the other reviews.

Easy Chicken Korma

This was absolutely amazing! It wasn't spicy at all though. I think next time I will double the chili powder so that I can taste it and add the suggested raisins. I served this with basmati rice. Later I found my husband dragging his finger along the dish and eating the sauce like it was cake batter. A winner for sure.
