Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
YUMMO! very spicy as-is, so i now cut down on the chipotle pepper (i have little ones). i also have added various types of beans along with the black since making it the first time. my family loves it every time!

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Delicious! I did not cut the hole in the middle and after frying, it was hollow inside... Perfect for cream or chocolate filling.

Butternut Squash Bisque

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
Very good, made as written except I had no cream on hand. I used about 3 tbl cream cheese before pureeing. Hubby didn't like the consistency but 3 n 4 yr old liked it.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
Delicious. Next time will make a few adjustments: make half the amount of the flour mixture and the bread crumb mixture. (I used 6 breasts instead of 3 and still had extra for both. I even put extra breadcrumb mix in the bottom of the pan.) Will add another spice to kick the flavor up a little. My 2 yr and 3 yr olds loved it.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
I followed the suggestions of several others and substituted 1/2c oil and 1/2c applesauce for the 1c oil, as well as using only 2 1/2c sugar. I also made large muffins b/c they work better for my husbands needs for a quick breakfast. Oven temp stayed the same and the cooking time was about 15-20min. My family absolutely loved them! This one is a keeper.
