I am married to a wonderful guy and a mom of five. My oldest son 23 is married to a great girl. My second oldest son 21 is in the army and in Iraq. My oldest daughter 20 lives on her own. My second oldest daughter 16 is now driving. My youngest son is 7 and soooo much fun!!! I have a great husband. We own our own buisness. I love to cook!!! Really...I love to BAKE!!!!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake cookies, candy, cupcakes, cakes, breads, muffins, ok, I just love to bake!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My youngest son likes to help cut out cookies when I bake them. We end up with flour everywhere, but... thats just fine with me. We have fun and then clean up!
My cooking triumphs
Making a fondant cake for the first time. It was interesting, but turned out ok.

Chocolate Banana Bread
OMG this is wonderful! It taste like a big chocolate, chocolate chip muffin. So yummy! I will make again and again! I did add a little more cocoa to mine.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake
This is a really good recipe. I made it just like the directions with no problem. I will make again. I gave it four stars because my family liked it, but they like plain ol strawberry shortcake better.
