Tuscan Soup

This is great! Pretty much made it as suggested, tho I played with the amounts of stuff...i.e. four turkey sausages, one small onion, entire frozen package (one of the boxy ones) of whole leaf spinach, four red potatoes unpeeled...i also added one grated clove of garlic when the onions were cooking with the sausage...delicious!!

Easy Granola Bars

Delicious, just as written. Not sure what others have done wrong. I subbed peanuts for almonds because they were on sale. I did cut them before they were cool and that worked out well. Enjoy!!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch but Healthier

Roquefort Pear Salad

Its delicious just as reviewed by all. Roquefort is like $20/lb so I substituted regular blue cheese crumbles. I used a mandolin to julienne the pears which turned out great. Please, please don't use yellow mustard for the dressing, get some kind of Dijon. I used Grey Poupon's course grind which adds a nice texture. Brought it to a potluck and it was definitely a hit!

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

This was really quite easy and great. I used a lot of black pepper to make it a little spicy. I dont have a grill so I put boneless chops into a saute pan with all of the marinade. At the same time I was boiling egg noodles to go with the pork chops. Kept the chops moist using some leftover water from the noodles. Took out the chops and a nice sauce was left to finish cooking then noodles in. Very good.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

This is great! It is indeed diet food, so keep your expectations in check. Lost 20+ lbs. eating this for lunch, one egg and one egg white for breakfast, and a sensible dinner. AND I joined a gym and worked out a lot. Good luck! I've made this soup about four times now and this last batch is not just bearable...its delicious! I used high fiber V8 for juice, one can of stewed tomatoes, and one fresh tomato. didnt have the string beans this time. I grated in two big cloves of garlic and I had some leftover fennel stems, so I cut those up and threw them in also. Put some in the blender to get a thicker texture and then poured it back in the pot. Will freeze in small batches for lunch. Time for weight loss!

Kung Pao Chicken

This was really good and easy. I followed some of the other reviews and tripled the sauce so that I could add broccoli. It still was not enough. The sauce is good so make a lot of it...do not triple the amount of cornstarch, it will be too thick.

Elegant Zucchini and Tomatoes

This was really great. My boyfriend and I are trying to eat more vegetables and this was a big hit! I did add a bit of olive oil because the pan seemed dry, most likely because I used turkey bacon. I also added a bit of garlic salt. Will definately do again.

Salmon Rosemary Burgers

This was great! I reduced the recipe and thawed a frozen atlantic salmon fillet that was in my freezer. Only one egg, and I eyeballed the rest, looking for the right consistency. I did not have most of the ingredients on the list so I changed the flavor profile and this was still amazing. No dijon, horseradish, or red onion. I used minced garlic and I minced yellow onion. I thawed some frozen spinach and threw that in with some feta crumbles...Mmm, mmm!

this was really good but i did not end up needing the maple syrup which is why the four stars...sweet potatoes are sweet enough on their own...i warmed up the milk before i mixed it in, i used two percent milk

Ratatouille

used salt to draw out moisture in eggplant before sweating it in the pan along with the onions and garlic and some evoo. used a mandolin for the zucchini and added basil to each part of it...skipped the bell pepper and skipped the mushrooms...when it started to brown on the top too much i put a foil tent over it and let more of the liquid evaporate. delicious!
