Sheila's Perfect Sangria

I've tried many different Sangria recipes and this one was by far the best. You can always change the fruits but it is a great starting point.

Chicken and Corn Chili

We loved this Chili, I used both Black and Pinto beans. Toped it with some fresh cilantro and diced up avacados and a little sour cream. Very tast and different than the regular chicken chili I make in the crock pot.

Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers

I was so excited to try these burgers I listened to a lot of the other reviews ans made some changes as suggested. I couldn't even eat half of it. The flavor was terible and I love all the ingredients. Won't be trying these again.

Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers

These were very good, I used Jack cheese because that's what I had. Next time I will add more cilantro since we love it so much. I made a great topping of yellow and red tomatoes, avacodo, red onion kind of like a chunky salsa was a great compilment to the burger.

Linguine with Asparagus, Bacon, and Arugula

The first time I made it I followed the directions but it was very greasy for my taste. So the next time I made it instead of adding the Oil to the Bacon Fat I used Chicken Broth. This time it came out much better and a little bit more figure friendly.

Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

This was really good and super easy. I ended up marinating for 24hrs because I started it in the morning and then my Husband came home and had already eaten. This I'm sure just made it better. I'm sure I will be making this regualry.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

We love this I always make a big batch and send some home for my Mom and Dad who also love it. I use extra Mushrooms and no Bell Pepper but add Zuchini half way through the cooking. It's wonderful I now have a Day 2 use for this recipe, We use it to make calzones the next day just using refrigerated pizza dough. Roll it out with some flour stuff with the left over chicken add some cheese and other extras you like. Seal and brush with egg wash. Bake 350 for 25-35 min.

We love this one in our house I always make extra for Lunch the next day. I use more garlic than it calls for but then again I use lots of garlic in almost everything.

Slow Cooker Chicken Creole

I love this recipe I serve it over rice and make it extra spicy. The only change I make is I use fresh mushrooms instead of canned, and I add a little bit more garlic that it calls for.

Basil Shrimp
