French Baguettes

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
Tastes great while still warm, but tends to go stale fast. Avoid cutting open until ready to use to keep it fresh the longest, but you really will want to bake the day you serve.

Fabulous French Loaves

Make sure loaves cool completely; if put away slightly warm, the nice crust texture is ruined.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
I added 4 T instant coffee for just a little richness. A 60 year old man I barely know confessed they are the best brownies he has ever eaten! I made the mistake of doubling the recipe for a big pan - much better to keep recipe as is and keep brownies thinner.

Coconut Macaroons III

Easy, quick, and reliable. I set them out next to the host's chocolate fondue fountain so guests could cover theirs with chocolate if desired.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
This dough divided in 12 balls makes a smallish hamburger bun - probly a regular size bun if they didn't collide during the rise. I brushed with butter during the last 5 mins of baking. Next time will dry dividing into 18.

Angie's Dad's Best Cabbage Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2009
I cut back on the sweetness by tossing the veggies in a quarter cup of sugar instead of a full cup. Then, I added a can of crushed pineapple to the vegetables and added the juice to the vinegar, mustard, and salt. Allow the mixture to cook down a little for a nice, thick sauce without too much added sugar!
