Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
This turned out good even though I had to add alot more milk to make it spreadable. I also used vanilla instead of almond extract since I didn't have any. They turned out very pretty and shiny.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
I really liked this recipe, even my picky eater husband said it was good. The only thing different I did was but back on the sour cream and I didn't used white wine since I didn't have any. I made egg noodles to go along with it. Will def. make this again.

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
This recipe is very easy to make and taste great. I made it for our Christmas Eve dinner and everyone loved it, even my picky dad who has a complaint about everything. I think its a little to sweet, so next time I make it I will probably cut back on the sugar.

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
This is the perfect recipe for a cold day, especially since it doesn't take very long to make. I used 1 pound of beef and added mor cheddar cheese and sour cream. We did potatoe bread in soup and it was yummy. My husband said the soup is good, but after a few bites he said it doesn't taste as great, but I didn't think that. He is too picky of an eater and a little on the strange side :)

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
I should have followed the recipe the way it was instead of listening to reviewers as I did not like baking the sweet potatoes in the oven. I will try to make this again but will boil sweet potatoes next time. I also added cinnamon and nutmeg. I put on marshmallows instead of pecans since my family likes it that way

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
For my first pineapple upside down cake I think it turned out pretty good. First I must say that a 8oz can of sliced pineapple isn't enough. I used a 9x13 pan and only baked it for about 30 minutes.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
I loved this recipe. It was actually pretty easy to make. I had trouble getting the sauce to thicken up, so I kept adding more flour until it got a little thick. I also used 2 cups of shredded cheese. I put in a 9x13 pan and baked for an hour and they turned out great!

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
I thought this dish was just what I needed on a cold rainy day. However my husband was not that thrilled with it. The only change I made was that I used grands buttermilk bisquits and baked them for a couple minutes so the bottoms would get done then stuck them on top of cassarole.

Manicotti Italian Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
I didn't care for this recipe too much. I just didn't like the flavor of it. My husband the picky eater said he liked the only complaint he had was that the rigatoni pasta was too big for this dish. My husband also said that he couldn't even taste the italian sausage in it so if I ever make this again I will just do it with ground beef and smaller pasta.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
I only gave it 3 stars cause I thought it was very bland, my husband however is a very picky eater and he loved it. I think you need to use way more egg noodles. I would recommend using at least 10 ounces.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
I don't know if I somehow messed this up, but I followed the recipe. I didn't like it, and my husband told me to never make this again. He said it left a nasty aftertaste. I will say that I like the chicken mixture before you add to spinach and mushrooms.

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
My husband the picky eater loved this and so did my 2 year old. I didn't have any green onions so I used onion powder and garlic salt. I also used garlic bread instead of italian bread since I saw another reviewer had done this. The only complaint I have about this recipe is that I don't really like the taste of the cream cheese, mayo mixture. I think next time I make this I will use ricotta cheese instead of it.

Baked Ham Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
My husband loved this recipe and he is such a picky eater. He keeps asking me to make it. I did make a few changes. Instead of minced onion I used onion powder and sprinkled it on. I didn't use any poppy seeds since I didn't have any. I also added brown sugar to make it a little sweeter. Will probably be making this once a week.

I thought it tasted ok, but my husband told me not to make it anymore. Takes a while to make. The only changes I made were that I didn't use spinach since I didn't have any and I also used beef instead of turkey.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2011
These were really good and my family loved them. I only baked them for 15 minutes. I highly recommend using regular salt instead of sea salt. The first batch I made with sea salt and every now and then I would bite into a piece of sea salt. I had a problem with eating the cookie dough batter before I could get them in the cupcakes

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
My husband said it tasted just like his mom makes, which he loves. I had to change some things to make it taste more like hers. I used mircle whip instead of mayonnaise and I doubled the amount of mixture. I didn't use onion, celery, peppers or carrot, instead I added cucumber and shredded cheese.

Amanda's Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
My husband thought this would have been really good if the peppers weren't cooked. Also had a hard time getting the meat mixture done. I think next time I make this, I will cook the meat mixture, then stuff in peppers and serve cold.
