Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
Absolutely lovely, the chicken is so tender, I wish I'd known about this one earlier!

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
This is the best recipe I have found for cut-out cookies. I doubled the vanilla based on what others had said, they've turned out lovely. With the icing/decoration they will definitely be sweet enough.

Cod Curry

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
I made this with haddock instead of cod as I prefer the taste, both my husband and I really enjoyed it. It was perhaps less spicy than it might have been as I only had one chilli pepper, having said that it's probably just as well as I gave it to my 1 year old too - she enjoyed it. I prepared the sauce and then did exactly as the recipe said, I left it for a few hours whilst we went to see a show at the theatre. It was definitely a good idea, the taste had really improved and when we came home I just heated it up, added the fish, and wow...it was a really tasty meal. We had it with rice - I tried coconut rice for the first time from this website. To be honest I should have stuck with plain basmati, I would have enjoyed my fish even more. Top marks for this recipe, it's definitely one I will use again. Thanks.

Asian Coconut Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
This was the first time I had coconut rice, to be honest I wasn't too keen. My husband liked it though and I think that going by other people's descriptions it turned out pretty much as it should. It was just too heavy and sweet for my liking, but I do think that that is really just down to personal taste and not down to the recipe. Still...it was nice to try something different, so thanks for the recipe nevertheless.

Mexican Rice III

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
This recipe was a great discovery for me, having never cooked rice in this way before. We don't have chicken broth in the UK (not that I know of anyway!) so I just used twice as much chicken stock as rice and left out the additional bouillon cube. I did add salt but shouldn't have as it didn't need it. The rice turned out beautiful and was a huge hit with my 18 month old daughter who we have discovered has a passion for food with loads of flavour. Thanks for a great recipe!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
All I can say is Oh Wow! This is the first time I have made these - I stumbled onto the recipe as a new user of the site and decided to give them a try. I took onboard some of the comments made by others, I used half bread flour and half plain flour, I used the warm oven idea to help them rise and I baked them at 375degF. I used the given amount for the topping and thought there was more than enough, I think if it was doubled they would be too sweet and gooey. Having said that we don't have Cinnabon in Scotland so maybe that's how they are supposed to be! They turned out absolutely amazing and I will be making them again this week for my friends who I know will be very impressed! Thank you for a brilliant recipe!
