Bacon Wrapped Hotdogs

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
Good recipe, came back from my party with only 3 left, we had lots of food so that was expected. I did bake at 375 for 45" then put them in the slow cooker to keep them warm. I also placed them in a large bowl before cooking and added the 1/2 cup of brown sugar then capped the bowl and shook them to assure good coverage. Very tasty, will probably make them again. I did use beef lil' smokies instead of hotdogs.

Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
Made this recipe for the first time tonight, made a couple of changes. First I made a homemade Turkey sausage from a recipe on this site and since I wasn't cooking it in the turkey I added a can of chicken broth (14.5 oz) to help moisten it up a bit. It came out a bit salty but I attribute that to the broth brand so I might not add salt to the next batch I make, but I will definitely make this again!! Oh and I also baked it per another suggestion at 350 degrees covered for 1 hour then another 25 minutes uncovered to crisp and brown up the top a bit.

Great flavor, even the kids liked it. It was a bit salty but I attribute that to the broth I used. Will definitely make this again.

Chili Rick's

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
Very good recipe, made a half batch and cut the BBQ sauce down to about 1/2 from there. I made the bacon pieces to big so I'll fix that next time. Couldn't taste the chocolate, but it does make it interesting. Tasted even better after a 6 hour simmer in a slo cooker.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
We couldn't stop eating this, the whole meatloaf was gone in one family meal. Usually we have a few slices left over for sandwiches the next day but not in this case.

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
Good recipe, I did as others said and toasted the bread and coated all sides of it but it still came out mushy in the center, next time I might try putting the bread on top.

Pineapple Ham Loaf

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
Very good Recipe, I didn't change a thing, but I might recommend you 1 1/2 the sauce or maybe even double it as I like to baste the slices on my plate and I was running out of sauce. I also added some pineapple rings towards the end of baking just cause I like pineapple.

Loose Meat on a Bun, Restaurant Style

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
This was the first time I've ever made a loose meat dinner and had my little girl tell me she liked it!! I did add about 3 tbsp of vinegar to the recipe which I thought tanged it up quite nicely. I also simmered it in a crock pot for 2 to 3 hours after browning the meat (I used Turkey meat by the way). I would probably cut the broth down a bit as it was still quite watery. Good recipe to build on!!
