Mom's Country Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
i would give this a five but i only give it a four because with a few tweeks, it can be awesome! i used bacon greese in place of the oil, and didnt cook the rue as long cuz i am impatient lol. it still works out fine tho. i also add a little bit of butter and more milk then called for. i also cook bacon and cut it up and add it. it is soooo good! one day i didn't know what to make, so i made this with those changes. thank you so much. when i dont know what to make, i turn to this. yum!

Easy Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
this was really good! i did use less sugar tho, like the other people said, 2 and a half cups, and i added a little bit of sweetened condensed milk to it too to help thin it just a little bit. it was so quick easy and good, and i dont really like peanut butter that much.

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
i made these differently then stated. i rolled them up like a normal cinnamon roll and then i cut them and put them in my brownie/cake pan. they only needed 15 minutes. they are good for a cinnamon roll that doesn't use yeast. thanks for the recipe.

Fudgy Brownies I

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
i loved these brownies! my whole family loved them too. They are just as good as boxed brownies, just as easy, but you know whats in them. The only problem i had was for some reason 35 minutes was too long for my oven. Next time i will cook for 30 minutes and see how they do. thank you so much for this recipe!

Beef Stroganoff II

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
i used to make this recipe the same except i added a little bit of ketchup to it. I didn't ever measure things though, and still don't. I always had a problem with it getting too thick. One way to reduce this is add water and let it sit in the meat and simmer for a while. this makes a somewhat flavorful broth. then i add all the stuff, plus ketchup, pepper, garlic and whoistashire sauce. it's soooo good. i'm actually having it for lunch today. such a good recipe, but when u don't measure it gets too think, so i add water. but soo good just how it is too.

Irish Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
It's good, i don't like the potato though. I make a recipe that is very simalar only i use a lot of water. i take the water add boneless chicken and simmer for two hours. then i shred it and add the peas, carrots, onions and seasonings and cook for a while. after that i add two cans of chicken broth and two cans of cream of chicken. i let that simmer for an hour then make homeade dumplings and simmer for 15-20 minutes. mine is simalar, but yours is very good too. oh and i also add a stick of butter.

Creamy Linguini for Two

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
As it was, i didn't think that there was enough sauce. I made it with the bacon and didn't like it, so i left it out this time and used chicken. Instead of cream i used half and half. I Also added garlic because i love garlic, and i took out the nutmeg. I also like a lot of cheese in things like this, so i added about a cup and a half this time. I made it for my bf and he loved it! I'm so glad that i found this recipe, but next time i don't think i will use any kind of meat. It was really easy to make, it looked fanch and it was delicious.
