Gyros Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
We thought this was quite good! Instead of making small patties, I just mixed it all together and browned it in a frying pan. I also made a gyro sauce to go with it (2/3 cup plain yogurt, 1/3 cup finely chopped cucumber, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, & some parsley).

We liked it, but probably not well enough to make it again.

Easy Bacon, Onion and Cheese Stuffed Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
I thought these were very good! I made the burger part per my own personal burger recipe and then added the filling as suggested here. Also, next time I think I will try it using ground sirloin! Next time I will also make sure to make the patties a little thinner!

Indian Tandoori Chicken

We thought this was great! I skewered them and cooked them on the grill. Next time I may try adding pineapple for a little extra citrus...

Loosemeat Sandwiches III

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
This was very good. I added some Worcestershire sauce and used chicken broth instead of water as others had suggested and it gave it a nice flavor, although it was a bit salty... perhaps from the broth. Next time I will cut back on the salt.

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
This was pretty good. I only had a few hours to marinate and wish I would have had longer. Also, I wrapped this in foil and grilled outside for about an 1.5 hours instead of baking. Probably would have been more tender if I had baked it, but I was craving some grilled brisket! Good flavor though!

Tangy BBQ Rub

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
I was a little disappointed with this one. I thought the flavor combo just came out odd.

Southern Grilled Barbecued Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
I used pork spareribs for this and they were GREAT!! Baked them for an hour and then grilled them. Next time I think I will use two racks of ribs... so we have more leftovers (don't need to double the sauce though). Hubby also suggested that next time I add a touch more spice to them. But overall, very very good!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
I used this marinade on some Porterhouse steaks that I grilled. I thought the filet side came out quite nice, but the flavor of the marinade was a little too subtle for sirloin side--we added A1 Bold & Spicy to that.

Marinated Chicken Pita Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
This was very, very good! I marinated my cubed chicken overnight and cooked outside on the grill. For the yogurt, I used 2/3 cup plain yogurt + 1/3 cup chopped cucumber + 3 Tablespoons finely minced onion + 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley (dried parsley can be substituted).

Mediterranean Made Rights (Loose Meat Sandwiches)

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
These were good, but not quite what I was hoping for. If I make them again, I don't think I will use the olive oil when browning the lamb, as I think it made it kind of greasy.

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
My review is the same as everyone else's--the rub for the meat is okay, the bleu cheese butter is fantastic! Next time I think I will make a little extra of the bleu cheese. Update--made again and used Montreal's steak seasoning instead of the rub, and it was great!

Bacon and Roquefort Stuffed Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
This was very good!! I made the burger per my own burger recipe (mixed together ground beef, one chopped onion, one egg, cup of crushed saltine crackers, T. Worcestershire sauce, & T. A1 Bold and Spicy), and stuffed it as described, but used Gorgonzala cheese. It was delicious! I was afraid the stuffed cheese was going to be too overpowering, so I didn't use all of it and so wished I would have used it all. Also, I couldn't taste the bacon as much as I would have liked and think next time I will double the bacon, or just put it on top of the burger after it's done. Next time I think I will also use gourmet burger buns! Thanks for the great recipe!

This was very good... I served mine over egg noodles. Next time I will make my meatballs a little smaller though--I guess I got lazy as I was rolling them because they got bigger and bigger!
