Autumn Spice Ham Steak

Wonderful recipe! I cooked the apples first in butter, syrup, cinnamon and even a little brown sugar til tender. Set aside. Cooked the ham in a little of the sauce from the apples. Drained the watery ham after the ham was done. Then added the apples and all of the remaining sauce to the hot ham. DIVINE!!! Absolutely divine!!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I'm not a big chocolate fan, but I'm newly converted to this one. Wow! Baked this cake in 3 6 inch pans but only used 2 layers of it because they were so fluffy and beautiful it only needed 2 (I'm eating the 3rd layer all by myself - great warmed up in the microwave for 10-15 seconds!! Yummy) using reviewers tips on 3/4 cup of oil and 1/4 cup milk. Covered in crusted cream cheese buttercream then covering in fondant for a two tiered birthday cake! The bottom tier being banana nut cake. Turned out great. I added a pic.

Country Apple Dumplings

Heaven's delight! I rolled the apples in cinnamon sugar. I used 1/2 cup white sugar and little over a 1/4 cup of brown sugar to butter and let thicken. I added a tsp of vanilla and cinnamon after sugar melted. I only used 1/4 can of mountain dew and poured partially over and around the dumplings. Served warm with icecream! Heavenly! I found the cracker barrel recipe and will use this recipe with their pecan streusal over the icecream. streusal:2/3 cup chopped toasted pecans, 2/3 cup packed brown sugar, 2/3 cup all purpose flour, 5 tbsp melted butter. Combine ingredients, mix with fork until it resembles moist crumbs. Can't wait to add the streusal!

Grilled Bruschetta Chicken

This was excellent. Didn't have fresh basil, but will definitely use the next time. I just can't imagine this being any better. Served with buttered noodles. I marinated for about 30 minutes, but will marinate overnight. I also added minced garlic and the cheese to topping. Next time will add sauteed mushrooms and parmasean cheese. Can't wait!

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

You've gotta try this one. Instead of soy sauce, I used worcestershire, and instead of ginger, I used cinnamon. Heavenly I tell ya. First time ever leaving a review, but this is sooooo good, I had to. I'm marinating a steak and I'm sure will be just as good. Can't wait.
