Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
Loved these pancakes! I cut the salt slightly though, and it was still sufficient. The only problem I had was that the batter was so thick that it was hard to work with. Very fluffy and delicious, though. Thanks for the recipe. Sorry Aunt Jemima, you've been replaced! :)

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
This is a great recipe, if you know how to adjust it according to how many watts your microwave is. Thank you to the reviewer who has an 1100 watt microwave - that helped alot because that is the same as mine. It definitely makes a huge difference in the outcome. Thanks for the recipe - so quick and easy!

Cappuccino Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
These are scrumptious! I have tried them with the coffee granules and with instant cappucino powder. Both are wonderful, but the cappucino powder is my favorite. I love the streusel as well, but these muffins are so good, the streusel is not necessary . YUM! Thanks for the great recipe!

Mom's Apple Fritters

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
These are so delicious. I did double the sugar and add a tsp of cinnamon, though. For those who say that they pop up in the oil too much, and come out too thick, use 2 spoons as you are dropping them in and spread the dough out with the spoons. Works great - especially if you are using a pan to fry instead of a deep fryer.

Raspberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
Just made these today and they are to die for! I used white chocolate/milk chocolate swirl chips and raw sugar on top before baking, instead of brown and white sugar. Yum! And the kids loved them too! Thank you so much Stephanie! I am also going to try making blueberry muffins with this recipe. I am sure they will be great as well.

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
Just made this recipe as is and it is wonderful! I made 12 regular sized muffins and 12 mini muffins. I did half with mini chocolate chips for my hubby and kids, and the other half with a sweet cinnamon sprinkle on top - to give it that little bit of sweet cinnamon crunch - yum! They are good both ways, but I prefer the cinnamon! I have another great banana bread recipe, but it is more complicated to make and is more cake-like. This is a real hearty comfort food kind of loaf. Just what I was looking for. And it doesn't get any easier than this, folks. Thanks so much for the recipe

Collins Goulash

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2010
I make a variation of this all of the time! I do, however, do a few things different: - I use about a cup of milk, instead of cream cheese - I add at least 2 cups of sliced fresh mushrooms (cooked with the ground beef) - I use plenty of seasonings while cooking the beef ( garlic powder, seasoning salt, a little rosemary, black pepper - all to taste) - and I use several different types of pasta. Sometimes I use spaghetti, sometimes penne, scoobidoos, rotini, etc - depending on what we feel like. They are all wonderful. This is one of our family favorites!

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
OMG!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe! I have used the same recipe (my Mom's) for years, but this one is now my go to recipe. I did make one modification: I mixed 3/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/3 cup of sugar into apples before layering them in the pan. I think they would have been too tart without it (I used McIntosh). I used 1 1/2 cups flour, instead of 2, and left out the cinnamon and nutmeg in the crust mixture. Delish! Thanks again :)

Speedy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
This recipe is awesome for moms on the go! Nobody would even guess that these are made with frozen bread dough. I have made these several times now, and they never disappoint. I even tried some without the cinnamon to make caramel sticky buns. Again, awesome! Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe - I have already got others hooked on the recipe!
