Strawberry Fruit Balls

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
These are really good. I would recommend making them a little smaller because they are really sweet. I also tried rolling them in coconut (I used pink to maintain the strawberry look), and I liked them more that way. Really good and super easy to make!

Gyros Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
These are really good! I would have loved to make them with lamb, but it is not readily available where we live so I used only beef...I actually used ground beef with only 4% fat and eliminated the bread crumbs. Since I made it into a loaf, baked it, and then sliced it, I did not have any problems with it drying out. The flavor is really great.

Selma's Best Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
These are really good, but are more like a sugar cookie than a traditional oatmeal cookie. I liked them, but still prefer the traditional, more cake-like oatmeal cookies. I also added half a cup of flaked coconut to this recipe and it made them extra yummy.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
Yum! I will definately be making this one again! I served it with toasted pita triangles, and it went really well. Like some other said, I substituted some of the mayo for sour cream. I also added some roasted red peppers to it and it added a great flavor.

Coconut Cream Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
Yum! I made the cake 2 days early and it turned out sooo great! Like other said, I let it cool completely with the sauce before putting it into the fridge. Then I left it in the fridge for 2 days before adding the whipped cream and coconut. The flavor was so great and I while it's very sweet, it's what you expect from coconut cream cake. Now a day later after icing the cake, it's even better. I would suggest having the cake completely finished a day before serving it. So good!

Home-Style Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
These scalloped potatoes came out perfectly! I didn't change the recipe at all and I will make it again exactly the same! This is a very basic recipe, so if you're looking for something with a little more flavor maybe try adding your favorite spice, but as a side to a tasty meat, these are great!

Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
These were yummy. Followed the recipe, but as other have said, heated the milk first to activate the yeast. I made them into mini hamburger buns and they were great!

Bread Machine Challah I

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
This is one of the better recipes I have done in my bread machine. The texture is great, especially the crust. I made french toast this morning with the left overs and even though I burned it a little (my mother-in-las called and wouldn't stop talking), it was really great. Thanks for the great recipe!
