A standard recipe to improve upon depending on your likes and silikes (I like a lil bit of rum in the batter....)

A Pad Thai Worth Making

I still needed to add ketchup and I wanted more spice rather than heat so I will add ginger next time. But a great recipe!

Vegan Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
I loved it: I used the rice flour method and applesauce instead of oil and got something that stuck a lot to the cupcake liners in the muffin pan. I will use the oil next time to make it more moist. I also used a basic frosting with my mint leaves from my garden to create mint extract and a garnish. The chocolate cake and mint frosting made my boyfriend gobble this up! thanks for a lactose free cake!

Curry Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
Delicious! Only thing is the 1 teaspoon of curry is really mild even for me who is a wuss for spice... I am going to double it next time. I also used fresh ginger which was very nice and a good splash of hoi sin sauce. I have an idea that 1/8 of chili powder might push this meal into a wow category. Thanks for the recipe!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
I loved that there was no eggs involved! And no Milk! I'm lactose intolerant so I made the change of butter to applesauce and also I'm cutting back on wheat and used rice flour - the result was light but firm bars. Thank you!

Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies III

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
3 and a 1/2 stars as it was quite tasty - we even skipped the cooling part in the fridge and they turned out nicely dense and chewy though the almond was a bit over powering so next time its a dash not a 1/2! added raisins and flax seeds for fun and it was very tasty:)

Super Duper Zucchini Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
I used pumpkin instead of shortening and added 4 tbs hot chocolate mix (because it was too late to go get cocoa powder...) and craisins... wow how lovely as a loaf! flax and oatmeal sprinkled on top - very nice and moist.
