I enjoy gardening, mostly herbs and vegetables, working-out, camping, entertaining,and cooking, of course. I have 2 grown children and a step-son and a grandchild on the way :) I will soon have a new kitchen, and I am so excited. I can't stop looking at kitchen books and magazines for ideas.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking Thai, Greek and Indian food, and vegetarian dishes and just about anything Hot & Spicy! I love trying new recipes, new gadgets, new ingredients. Sushi is on my to-do list, Along with bread making and canning.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I can't say that my family really has any. Both my children like to cook which makes me happy.
My cooking triumphs
My daughter refers to my Thai soup as "Crack Soup", because its addicting. I have been told, "for a vegetarian you sure know how to cook meat" I made Habenero Pepper jelly with peppers from my garden...and it is delicious and well worth all the work.
My cooking tragedies
I started a small oven fire while browning a crunchy topping for salad. My son was in 1st grade at the time and drew a picture in school of my oven with flames shooting out of it.
