Delicious! I added some hot spicy powder my friends uncle makes to the hamburger to add some spice and also some minced garlic and onion. I used a can of mixed veggies and a can of tomato paste since I didnt have the sauce. I also used my homemade salsa and some colby jack cheese I had leftover, and added a bit more pepper and some salt before putting it in the pan. It was very filling and my fiance loved it! thanks for the great recipe!

I made this with a package of french vanilla cake mix and 2 cups of fresh pureed pumpkin and some spices, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. I made it in muffin tins and it came out perfect. They were very dense and moist, almost too much so for my taste, but the flavor was wonderful. My fiance loved them so I am giving them 5 stars instead of 4. I might try adding an egg next time just to see how the texture may change.

I didn't weigh my apples or measure any of the sugar or spices. I just did it to taste. It came out amazing both times I made it! I used fresh picked apples of several varieties,peeled and cored, and cooked them in my crockpot for several hours. After they were mushy I mashed them with my potato masher and added the sugar and spices to taste. The first time I made it, it cooked for maybe 24 hours, and came out a light brown in color, similar to spiced applesauce. The second time it ended up getting cooked for almost 2 days and came out a rich chocolate brown and smelled amazing. I canned it all up and it tastes delicious on everything! Thanks!

Yummy! I baked my squash for an hour, scooped out the innards, and pureed it. I used a cup of it for this recipe. I followed the recipe to a T, except for adding a little extra cloves and nutmeg! Oh, and I also added mini chocolate chips! =] I mixed slightly too much the first time and they were kind of tough, but the second time I mixed 'em til just barely moistened and they came out perfect! Will be making these all winter. Thanks for the great recipe!

I didnt have sour cream so I substituted 7/8 cup buttermilk and 3 T butter that i blended in a small food processor. I also used 1/2 cup applesauce in place of half the oil and strong coffee in place of the water. I used a 3.9 oz package of chocolate pudding and 1 cup of peanutbutter and white chips. Topped with powdered sugar and MmMmMm was this GOOD!! My fiance loved it!

I used a variety of apples that I had picked off of the trees out back and they were perfect for this recipe; just the right amount of tart to balance out the sweet. I made a simple crust and poked a bunch of holes in the bottom to keep it flaky, and folded the excess over the top, leaving a hole in the middle. Baked according to the recipe and it came out perfect. It was definately runny, but I just stuck it in the fridge overnight and it was perfect the next day! Amazing apple pie. I am making one to take to our neighbors today!

I didn't have a can of crushed pineapple, but I did have a 21oz can of pineapple rings, so I ate two of them and took about 2 T of juice out and crushed the rest of the contents with a pastry blender. I then mixed that with the cherry filling. I also did not have yellow cake mix, so I used white cake mix with some cinnamon and nutmeg whisked in. Greased the pan, dumped in the cherry/pineapple mix, dumped on the cake mix and poured melted butter all over the top. Awesome warm with ice cream and cold with whipped cream. YUM!
