Really good. Used turkey bacon for less fat. Next time I may add some corn.

Very good. Didn't have enough beef stock, so threw in some chicken stock to get enough liquid.

Four stars for me, two for Barbara. She doesn't care for cod very much.

Next morning I used left overs to make a hash, and the pork was as tender as the potatoes.

Louisiana Shrimp Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
Too bland for our tastes. Tweaked it quite a bit, but still bland. Don't let this review discourage you, we like very strong tastes, you may like it just fine.

Seafood And Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
Terrifical! Didn't have red cabbage so substituted grated carrots. Added green onions, raisins, some almonds for crunch. Used real crab, but think surimi would be perfectly ok. Great for hot summer evenings when you don't want to heat up the kitchen. Will do it again.

A good meal and satisfying, but just a tad bland for our tastes, even though I used a heavy hand on the spices.

I rarely give five stars, but this one deserves it. Barb warmed it up for lunch the next day, and that is a rare occurance. Delicious!

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Terriffic sauce. Used frozen breaded chicken patties instead of fish. Worked quite well. Went heavy on jalapeno and spices, made the sauce early and let it marry in the fridge for three hours to blend the tastes. Used double tortillas and heated them on the flame. Delicious experience. Shall do this again.

Added some sliced mushrooms, and a couple of glugs of Sherry. Didn't have any tomato sauce, so used catsup. Worked out great. Will definitely do this again.
