The Best Chicken Fried Steak
I used this recipe to make 8 steaks, and only used 3/4 cup buttermilk (had lots of flour and liquid left over). I thought it was a little bland, but it turned out well (nice breading, cooked through, etc). My husband, who is a Chicken fried steak eater, said it was far better than any restaurant. So overall very pleased.

Ramen Cabbage Salad
I used 3/4 a head of cabbage, and 1/2 of the remaining ingredients (I prefer smaller amounts of dressing), using oriental flavor ramen noodles. It was by FAR the best cabbage I've ever eaten. I will be sure to make again.

Anniversary Chicken I
This is how I made it: Mix the teriyaki and ranch, add chicken and marinate for a few hours. Meanwhile, cook bacon strips. Take chicken from marinade and grill over charcoal. When just done, top each piece with two strips of bacon and slice of cheese. We all liked this recipe, and it is fast and has a very "restaurant" feel to it. But even with marinating there wasn't a LOT of flavor, and I imagine the grilling added to it rather than subtracted. I hope I remember to make it again. :-)
