California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
WOW!! What a great sandwich! 2000 stars!! My husband made this for me and my boys and everyone was awed by the great taste. We used sliced grape tomatoes from our garden instead of the red pepper and took the recommendation of another reviewer and used whole grain English Muffins instead of the recommended bread. Best meal I've had in a long time! Thank you so much!

Zucchini Dutch Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
What a great casserole!! I was nervous about it being a microwave dish - I'm so used to cooking casseroles in the stove oven. But it turned out great! I couldn't find Gouda cheese so I bought a 7 oz. package of Feta cheese and a package of shredded Mozzarella cheese. I used the Feta cheese for the first step of paragraph 3. Then I used 1 cup of the shredded Mozzarella for the final step. Very good! Also, one suggestion: I stirred the pasta/zucchini combination several times in the colander so as to not let the pasta get rubbery. Thanks for a keeper!!

Creme de Menthe Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2005
Awesome cake!! I made it for St. Patrick's Day and it not only looked festive but it tasted great. My husband said "Wow - this is one of the best desserts you've ever made"! Thanks, Bonnie! P.S. I did follow others' advice and used warmed-up hot fudge instead of chocolate syrup.

Great cake! I used blueberry pie filling and vanilla extract because that was all I had on hand - and it was still delicious!

Buttermilk Pie IV

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2002
I had never heard of this pie before and initially I was skeptical - sounded boring. BOY, WAS I WRONG! It was DELICIOUS!! I even tried to convince my 13-year old that he wouldn't like it and that he should give his piece to me. He took one bite and said "No way"! Thanks for a keeper!

Awesome recipe! Extremely easy and VERY tasty. I used cream of chicken soup (instead of cream of mushroom), used 1/3 less fat cream cheese, and served it over rice. Boy, was it good. Thanks!

Easy Easy Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2001
A unique recipe and quite good! After reading a few of the reviews, I decided to use spaghetti sauce instead of the tomato soup. It turned out great! I used 6 potatoes instead of 4(because my husband eats a lot) but be sure to slice the potatoes thin or it will take longer to cook. Thanks for a "keeper" recipe!

Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2001
What a keeper! I used a little less grapes and a little less pecans (my son doesn't like nuts). It turned out great and extended family members went back for seconds and thirds. I'm glad I made a double batch! Thanks again! Beanie J
