Pear Honey

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
First time making this and turned the heat down to low to cook for three hours. Looks beautiful but is a little too sweet for our liking. We will cut back on the sugar for our second batch and use some brown sugar as suggested in one review. Put the pears in a food processor before cooking and that seemed to help break them down. Will use pears that are more ripe the second time.

Chicken Breasts with Lime Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
AMAZING! The best chicken breast I have ever had. I am not that fond of chicken breast but this was so moist and tender and the lime sauce was the perfect touch. All the others are going in the trasH. This is the new favorite. I did add a little flour to the sauce to make it a little thicker but either way I'm sure is good.

No Fail Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
Great recipe and made just enough for just the two of us. It reminds me of the old fashioned fudge my Aunt made every year for Christmas. Love the Cocoa taste it in. This is real fudge!

The best flavor combination ever! This is our favorite zucchini bread recipe from my three year old grandaughter to my husband. Changing it in any way will do it no justice. I pass it on to all my friends.

Yellow Squash

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
My husband really liked this and the bacon was a good addition along with the soy. I'm not that fond of squash so it seemed ordinary to me. Will probably make it again though.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
My husband said this is the best pecan pie he has ever eaten. I thought it was very good too but it confused my taste buds since it had a different consistency. I'm sure I will get used to it though. I made it in a large glass pie pan and should have used a smaller one.

Mexican Lasagna

This recipe is the bomb! My husband loved it and ask that it be a regular. I also spread refried beans on the tortilla's before layering. I split it up in two pans (there are only two of us) and gave the others to some friends. They loved it too. We even ate all the leftovers.

Very good recipe. Easy too but a little thick for me. I may use it again if I am having a large crowd.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
These were great cookies and I got a request for the recipe the first time I made them. My picky husband who has to have soft and chewy yet a little crispy too loved them. I don't like raisin oatmeal cookies and I made these so I wouldn't eat them, but it didn't work. I loved them too!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This is a keeper! My husband kept moaning as he ate it. He said it was "awwwwwwsome"! He took the first bite and said "What did you do to this"?! I cut back on the garlic because he doesn't like garlic. He said it was the best chicken I have ever made and I agree.
