Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
The smell and taste of the meat mixture is definitely a 5 but I also felt like it needed more potato (I diced it really small and added it to the meat mixture)and then I felt weird just eating meat and potato without it being in a pita or maybe served over rice? Another thought is to skip the potato slices and make mashed potatoes for it to sit upon. In this case it would also need more gravy.

Turkey Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This recipe was so good. As previous reviews advised, I added 2TB of worsteshire. I also added a handful of frozen peas, a couple dashes of Tabassco, and a 1/4tsp oregano, and alot more garlic. Also used fresh button mushrooms. I sprinked paprika and fresh parsely on the top. This was the best Sheperd's Pie I've had!

I do 1 can cream of chick, 1 can celery. I add carrots, peas, onions, and celery tops. Added 1 tsp poultry season, parsely, garlic power. Could add more seasoning though. Try cumin and thyme next time? Also should try with thigh next time.
