My favorite family cooking traditions
When I was a kid,I would ask my Dad wants for supper? He would always say"Pigs A$$ and Cabbage".
My cooking triumphs

My cooking tragedies
I don't buy jumbo eggs anymore,I always seem to break the egg yolk when frying. I like my eggs (once aweek) over easy.

Rock Salt Encrusted Prime Rib
Excellent roast, but a pain to chip off all the rock salt.Plus some of the salt gets into the drippings, which I combine with beef broth for dipping, but is now too salty.

Foolproof Rib Roast
This was good, but I prefer my rib roast very rare, so I oven roast it at 250 degrees and it turns out rare all the way through.Notice the photo the outer one inch layer is well done,so the dog would get that.
