About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Pork and chicken. Am good with cookies, not so much with cakes. Enjoy the challenge of cooking a good meal on a campstove in the mountains.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Very few as mother didn't cook well. Lots of chicken and pork with cream of mushroom soup on top. She thought potatoes and peas were vegetables.
My cooking triumphs
Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin; rave reviews every time, and easy as falling off a log.
My cooking tragedies
Any burnt cookie, LOL.

Kinderpunsch
Would have given 4 stars as this is a very basic version of mulled cider, but this gets 5 stars instead due to having ingredients found in my kitchen as opposed to more specialized or complicated mulling mixes. Very easy to assemble and great taste.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken
My favorite recipe so far off these pages. The juice is great over rice, and the chicken is suffused with flavor. Using mild curry makes this a good recipe for those not in love with heat. High fat dish, so around here, it gets saved for really special occasions.

Moroccan Chicken
Wow, what great flavors! Nice and spicy without being hot. We will be making this again for sure, maybe using veggie broth instead of chicken broth. I like it served over couscous and my fiance likes it served in pocket bread (including the couscous).
