Caribbean Crab Souffle

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great! Coconut was a very good counterbalance to the savory crab - and enhanced the sweetness of the souffle in a good way.

Cinnamon Supper Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
Simple to make, this non-complicated and wonderfully 'clean' tasting cake is a great way to start the weekend! My 5 yr old daughter loves to help add the ingredients while making this cake, and loves the idea of having 'supper' for breakfast!

Four Egg Yellow Cake

I used the chocolate frosting recipe on a can of Ghirardelli sweet ground chocolate - it was GREAT!

German Apple Pancake

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
I enjoyed this - the flavors were very interesting. I used a slightly smaller pan, which made a thicker pancake. This made it taste a little more egg-like I beleive and would have been better if a little thinner.

Funnel Cakes IV

Make sure you add enough oil to your pan to allow the cake to float slightly. These turned out great - just like at the fail!

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

I've never made pudding before - it was very easy and yummy. A great way to get your chocholate groove on without much work.

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2009
Good way to add flavor to boring turkey - next time I will add a ittle less soup mix; it was a little too salty (but still good!) Burgers were very moist!

Apple Strudel Muffins

These are so good! Best when not served immediatly, allow time for the flavors to set! I liked them even better the next day..

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
I substituted Liptons onion soup mix which seemed to work well. Sauce is too sweet with the 1/4 cup tomato, suggest using alternate (brown?) sauce. Steak was yummy!!

French Breakfast Puffs

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
These are great as is, no changes needed if you want a French Breakfast Puffs. These are not supposed to be over-sweet - the contrast of salty and sweet is wonderful and a great recipe for breakfast. Serve with coffee. yum!

Fluffy Pancakes

Best home recipe I've found to date. Not quite as 'fluffy' as restaurant cakes, but very very good. Try this one out.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Great french toast - I made it with country wheat and it turned out great! Be sure to get a good soak on the bread, not just an outside coating (be gentle after soaking!). Try a taste before adding additional butter and syrup on top once serving - the french toast is very tasty (and sweet enough in my opinion) without additional syrup. I'm also not a fan of loading up on butter if not really needed for taste..

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
This was OK, be sure to serve WITH the gravy on top of the chicken. The gravy will 'slip' off of the chicken during cooking, and this is where all of the flavor of this dish is.

Campbell's® Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Didn't seem like enough liquid at first, but turned out ok. Roast was a little dry, perhaps due to the low level of liquid. If possible, re-baste the roast from time to time, or add additional liquid to keep everything moist (I'll try beef broth next time).

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
Great biscuits! Be sparing with the milk, too much and you have very sticky dough. If this happens, balance out with a little more flour. Great with butter and jam!
