Herbed New Potatoes

Reviewed: May 23, 2012
Omg! Simply fantastic! I followed the suggestions of previous reviews and doubled the sauce. I also used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray and fat free Greek yogurt in place of the butter and sour cream but these were still very much "melt in your mouth" delicious. Thanks for sharing Vi!

Enlightened Egg Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
For a healthy lunch, I cut a whole wheat pita in half, stuff with mixed greens and a serving of this amazing egg salad. 310 calories! :)

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
Amazing! I haven't even added the cheese yet and I can't stop dipping my spoon into this soup! The only changes I made were adding some julienned carrots and used fresh broccoli. I also pureed it. I will be adding the cheese before serving but I can't even imagine how much better it will be then! Thanks for sharing!

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
This soup was fantastic! I did make some small changes however. Instead of heavy cream, I used fat free half & half and instead of regular bacon, I used turkey bacon which I cooked in the microwave. I also boiled chopped onions and carrots with the potatoes and pureed it. This is great basic recipe that you can play around with in my opinion. My husband had 3 bowls for dinner and is now begging me to make it again. Thanks Anabana!

Southern Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
Finally a delicious potato salad recipe that I can't screw up! I've always had issues with cooking the potatoes to perfection but this recipe eliminated that. I prepared just as directed but added 1 tsp. vinegar, some grated carrots and finely chopped red onion (personal preference). It was delicious! The whole family gobbled it up! Thanks so much for sharing Songlady!

Spinach and Rice Alfredo

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
Wow! This was so easy to make a so so so delicious! I doubled the recipe for a family dinner and substituted FF half & half for the heavy cream. I also doubled the garlic since this household loves garlic. This came out so creamy, my hubby thought it was risotto. Went perfectly with breaded chicken cutlets and salad. This will now be going into our weekly rotation. Thanks for sharing Diana!

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
Wonderful! I prepared this marinade yesterday and let the chicken (boneless skinless breasts) sit in it overnight. Grilled this evening and served over mixed greens with my own balsamic vinaigrette, hubby loved it. Will be adding this to weekly rotation. Thanks for sharing Jillypoo!

Skillet Beef and Macaroni

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Just like I had when I was a kid. Made this recipe exactly as directed and added a little oregano and basil while simmering. I do think it's very close to Stouffer's but even better and you get much more by making it yourself. This is going to be a staple for days that I'm in a hurry. Thanks Maxine!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Very good recipe! Simple and quick but tasted like it took hours to make. I didn't change a thing, except I used fresh chopped garlic and a lot of it. Served it with tricolor pasta tossed with olive oil and garlic and sauteed broccoli. I think I would like to try this as a base for my chicken parm next. Thanks Carol!

Asian Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I made this chicken exactly as instructed and it was very bland. I couldn't eat it but my husband, who isn't too picky said it was okay. I will not make this again.

Easy Deviled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
This was delicious! I made it for my husband last night and he finished everything on the plate and had leftovers. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of using brummel and brown instead of butter and low cal mayo. Mixed up a little honey and spicy mustard for a dipping sauce as well. It turned out just as described, extra crispy and full of flavor. This will definitely become part of my weekly rotation. Thanks Monica!

This wasn't bad, it just tasted like shake 'n bake chicken to my husband and myself. Not sure that I would make it again.

Caper Baked Chicken

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
I have to agree with a previous reviewer. I followed the instructions exactly and the chicken was very dry. The only thing I could taste was the steak sauce which was also disappointing.

Mom's Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
I've been looking for a recipe like my grandmothers and this seemed to fit the bill. I did change a few things, however. I used boneless, skinless chicken breast, olive oil instead of vegetable oil and added a can of tomato paste as others suggested and it turned out great. Thanks for sharing!
