Fudge Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
I baked this for the first time yesterday. Took it to a family gathering, my son had just gotten out of the hospital surviving major brain surgery, and he decided he wanted to taste the pie before the meal...he raved about it so much, three others decided to try desert first. It was a big hit! I'd made two, doubled the recipe and used "zebraper"'s tips on not pre-baking the crust and baking longer. Turned out great! I let the pie cool and made a cream cheese/powdered sugar spread, and put on when the pie was totally cool. Then put a can of cherry pie filling on top! GOOD!

Cranberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2012
Loved these muffins, but mine were a little dry. Maybe because I used 1/4 c. melted butter instead of veg. oil? I also used 1 1/2 c. Craisens instead of fresh cranberries. (my husband liked them warm with butter :)

Butterscotch Pie II

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
Glenda,Thank you for this recipe! I have been looking for a butterscotch pie that was like my mom's, and as one of the other reviewers commented, you have to "caramelize" the WHITE sugar to get a real butterscotch taste. Thank you again!!! MRSN

Crunchy Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
I made these for my son and his driving partner last week. I used two boxes of brownie mix, 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1 egg......and only 2 jumbo eggs with the 2 boxes of mix, the rest of the recipe I used as printed. He texted me after they had driven off, and said "good lord mom, these brownies are unreal!!!" I'm getting ready to make another 13 by9 pan of them again for a Christmas buffet. Thanks Wendy for sharing!!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
My daughter-in-law used this recipe for her very first cheesecake...took it to her office party and it was the hit of party! Her boss kept asking her if she really made it, and telling her how great it tasted. I will be making it very soon. I really appreciate reading all of the reviews.

Stuffed Pepper Soup II

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
We liked this soup very much. I spiced it up a bit, as we like spicy soups. I added a little crushed pepper and we needed a little more salt. I will definitly make this again. mrsn
