Soft-N-Fluffy Hamburger Buns

I really wanted to love these after reading all the great reviews....after 2 attempts and no alterations, they were just ok. They were not "soft-n-fluffy" and the flavor was a bit bland.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

This frosting really surprised me! I'm not a big peanut butter fan but made these for my family, I ended up really loving this frosting! Easy to prepare and piped very easily.

I used this recipe for my daughter's first bread lesson and it turned out perfect! The scent of fresh bread baking filled the entire house and it was exciting and my daughter was thrilled with the results!

Sugar Cookie Icing

"Smooth" that still makes me laugh! "If icing is too thick, add more corn syrup" Yeah, like the whole bottle! Someone in my All Recipes World must be playing a joke on me! I'm all for pretty cookies, but my tastebuds don't have eyes and they were not happy!

Key Lime Cake II

Ok, I've done something that usually drives me crazy, I substituted ingredients! I used a white cake mix and lime jello, and this turned out really yummy. To be fair, I'm gonna try it again without substituting!

Homemade Flour Tortillas

My mom's been making authentic tortillas for years and is gonna teach me soon, in the meantime I thought I'd give these a try and am happy I did! They have great flavor, though I added 4 TBS. shortening instead of the recommended amounts. Happy with this recipe

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Sometimes I'm reluctant to try recipes that have such a high rating (result not equaling hype), but I have to agree with the 5 star ratings! This chicken is awesome, I had to soak the pan I cooked the chicken in to stop myself from sopping up all the juice with my fingers!

French Baguettes

Butter Cream Frosting II

While I would say the flavor of this frosting is less than ok, the consistency was almost unspreadable! Do not be fooled, this frosting tastes nothing like you would find in an "in-store bakery". This was a big, unspreadable disappointing flop!

Fresh Tomato Salsa

I used tomatoes from our garden, which made this salsa even better! The prep time is incredibly fast & easy, huge bonus. This is a cross between salsa and pico de gallo....I make it at least once at week!

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

I was so disappointed with this recipe, but I didn't have any more powdered sugar to make a different frosting! Call me a purist, but isn't there "butter" in "buttercream frosting"? Too bad I didn't read the reviews beforehand, or I would have used half butter.

Mushrooms with a Soy Sauce Glaze

I had to edit my rating from 4 stars to 5, these mushrooms are delicious! I served over steaks, the sauce compliments the steaks incredibly well. Next time I will double the recipe, my daughter couldn't get enough of these!
