Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
This recipe never ceases to amaze those who try it. I baked a batch of 24 for my aunt and uncle who just had a baby, and they couldn't get enough. Who would have thought that the topping could change it from just your basic banana muffins to something so delightful. Anybody who's thinking about making these should just go ahead and do it & cook extra, because they go fast.

Crepes

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
This recipe has been in my family since the beginning of time ha ha. My Oma occasionally cooks these for dinner for the family. She'll stand in front of the stove for hours. Time consuming but oh so good. Try it with ground beef. Prepare it the way you usually do, onions, garlic, spices, and then wrap it up in a crepe and drizzle some syrup over top. TO DIE FOR! Giver a go!!

The meat was really sweet. Next time I will decrease the amount of brown sugar and possibly add more vinegar. But overall, great home made recipe!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Delicious. Omitted the cream cheese because I didn't have any on hand, and it was scrumptious. Can't wait to try it with the cream cheese!

Brilliant Sauteed Broccoli

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
Delicious! The reason I'm giving 4/5 is because it was a bit on the sweet side... but I think that was my fault adding too much brown sugar. Next time I'll cut back and it'll be super awesome.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
Delicious x100000! My hubby who doesn't eat porkchops couldn't get enough. I let the oil get hot in the pan first and then fried it on both sides until I thought it was good enough. For the breadcrumbs I just used what I had on hand which was Soda crackers which I added garlic powder and paprika to. I then cooked in oven as directed while I simmered the wine, mushroom soup and fresh mushrooms in the porkchop drippings. Served with rice (made a nice gravy), broccoli, and a salad. KEEPER!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
VERRRRRY GOOD! Once you make it, you've earned bragging rights over your newly acquired superb high class chef skills! I didn't have chicken broth on hand... so I used a lipton chicken noodle soup pkg and strained the broth and discarded the noodles and it was just as good! I also didn't have any fresh mushrooms on hand... only canned and, again, FABOULOUS! I can't wait to try it with all the RIGHT ingredients. Served with stuffing and peas. YUM-O.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
So, I boo-booed on this one, and unintentionally used Lemon Pudding rather than vanilla. :( Just writing to let ya'll know, lemon pudding = not so good. Giving 5 stars because they were super moist, and point blank, perfect... other than the odd lemon taste. Eager to try again with VANILLA pudding this time. Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
Was delicious!! Followed MISSJENAFFLECK's advice and used mushroom soup rather than the french onion soup and it was amazing. Made along side a picnic Ham, steamed broccoli and steamed carrots. Was the perfect touch to a yummy dinner! Will definitely right his one out and place it in my *best recipe* box!

Apple Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
Had a bag of Macintosh apples in the fridge which were starting to get soft so I decided to make something other than apple crisp (because for some reason I can't for the life of me make an apple crisp that doesn't turn into a soup!). Was a spur of the moment thing, didn't have any butter in fridge nor any apple sauce so used peach sauce that my 1 year old daughter usually has as a snack. And I added some oats as Macintosh apples don't hold their own very well.. Followed the rest of the recipe to a T. Turned out great!!! Perfect with tea. Will definitely make again. Thanks for the great alternative to apple crisp!!

Just as it says, flaky, soft and foolproof! I added an extra 1/2tsp of salt as others had said, and I also added 1/2tsp of garlic powder, basil, thyme, and oregano. Turned out perfect and my house smells amazing! Into the recipe box this ones goes. :)

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
I hate writing bad reviews, but honesty is the best policy right? Anyways, the cookies tasted really pasty, like one went overboard on the flour. There was hardly any peanut butter taste, which is the whole point of the cookie. Will be looking for a different pb cookie recipe. :(
