About this Cook
I'm currently studying to become a BN, and later planning to become a Gynecologist, just want to get my foot in the door as a nurse. I play the piano, and enjoy eating out "occasionally" at the old spaghetti factory (can't go wrong there).
My favorite things to cook
Creamy pasta/chicken dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Omas cooking. My family is german and brazilian so theres alot of flavor involved in all our foods. I can't cook without lots of onion and garlic.
My cooking triumphs
I baked Spaghetti and Meatballs for my inlaws and they loved it even tho it was a bland meal. The meatballs were the best part. They never had a tender meatball.
My cooking tragedies
I baked an apple cake when i was 16 and it looked absolutely amazing so i was all excited and thought I had gone pro until me and my mom tried it and i had put 1/2 Cups of salt instead of 1/2 teaspoon salt and only put 1/2 tsp sugar instead of 1/2 cups. ... oops.

Best Bread Machine Bread
Just as it says, flaky, soft and foolproof! I added an extra 1/2tsp of salt as others had said, and I also added 1/2tsp of garlic powder, basil, thyme, and oregano. Turned out perfect and my house smells amazing! Into the recipe box this ones goes. :)

Apple Bars
Had a bag of Macintosh apples in the fridge which were starting to get soft so I decided to make something other than apple crisp (because for some reason I can't for the life of me make an apple crisp that doesn't turn into a soup!). Was a spur of the moment thing, didn't have any butter in fridge nor any apple sauce so used peach sauce that my 1 year old daughter usually has as a snack. And I added some oats as Macintosh apples don't hold their own very well.. Followed the rest of the recipe to a T. Turned out great!!! Perfect with tea. Will definitely make again. Thanks for the great alternative to apple crisp!!

Easy Mushroom Rice
Was delicious!! Followed MISSJENAFFLECK's advice and used mushroom soup rather than the french onion soup and it was amazing. Made along side a picnic Ham, steamed broccoli and steamed carrots. Was the perfect touch to a yummy dinner! Will definitely right his one out and place it in my *best recipe* box!
