Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2014
Meh these are nothing special. I honestly probably won't make these again. I don't like using oil so I subed that out for applesauce. I did as other reviewers did and added 2 tablespoons of cocoa.

Apple Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
It is okay, not really that impressed with it. I tried what reviewer Jillian said and did half brown sugar and half white sugar. Also added vanilla. To me it lacks something. I maybe next time if make add little nutmeg or cloves.

Old-Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2012
These were really really good. I was a bit skeptical with some of the reviews saying to much salt and chemical tasting. I reduced the baking powder to 2.5 teaspoons and added a teaspoon of vanilla. Since used salted butter I put in less than a 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
Good taste, a bit doughy but I believe that is because for some reason the dough fell a bit when taking off the towel from the last rise. Not sure why it fell. This is my first time making bread from scratch and not using a bread maker. Definately will make again.

Monkey Bread IV

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
This was a huge disappointment. They were not gooey enough and wayyyy to much nutmeg and cloves. I think I will find a different monkey bread recipe

S'more Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
I only give this a two star. I was really disappointed this tastes NOTHING like smores. In fact I thought it was rather flat tasting. I would not make these again.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
I give these 5 star. Like some others added vanilla and cinnamon, 1 tsp of each. They are bit crumbly but good in taste

Peanut Blossoms II

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
These taste very good. I made the whole recipe, though instead of shortening did use butter. Let the dough chill for couple of hours and then rolled out the balls and baked. Used Hershey's dark chocolate kisses. Very good

Soft Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
These taste good but not sue what I did wrong. My cookies stuck to my non stick cookie sheets. I did as other reviewers said, used butter instead of margarine, used 3 cups of flour and baked them at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. They taste good, just had a heck of a time getting them off my cookie sheets

Brownie Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I give this a three star only because, to me it was more like fudge to eat then to put on a brownie. It is good but I really don't care for it on top of a brownie

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
These were just okay. Nothing to special about them. I did as some reviewers said. I used butter instead of shortening and also added vanilla. They are soft and chewy but really lack in the taste department. I really doubt I would make these cookies again

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
Wow, this is probably the best pumpkin pie I have ever had. And this was the first time I have made the pie!. I did as other reviewers suggested. I used fresh pureed pumpkin and warmed it up with the spices first. I also used 2 tsp of cinnamon as suggested. Also best tip ever is to let the pie cool in the oven with the door cracked. I will be definately be making this pie again!

Grilled Rib Eye Steaks

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
Not impressed with this at all. We tried as others said to do the low sodium soy sauce. This really had no taste at all. I don't think I would make this again for steaks

Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
These turned out okay. Used a tad bit more water and they still really didn't turn out that well. Used Russets instead of red potatoes. Used also minced garlic which could have used more. I would make again but reduce the time.

This cake turned out so well. I made it for my boyfriend's birthday. He loved it so much that, I had to make it again within a week! I even handed this recipe out to a co-worker and her family loved it also!
