Fluffy Carrot Muffins with Cream Cheese Frosting
Unfortunately these muffins were disappointing. I followed the recipe to the letter and although they came out nice and fluffy they had a strange metallic taste from all of the baking soda. I will not be making these again.

These were just okay. Pre cooking the filling made them finicky to fold properly so I did a couple this way and the rest I just put the raw filling in, which is traditional. I found the filling bland so with my second batch I added a splash of soy sauce, splash of oyster sauce, splash of sesame oil, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp of pepper, 1/4 tsp of ground ginger. Adding these ingredients and not pre cooking the filling made these a definite 5 star dish.

Egg-Yolk Sponge Cake
This cake is amazing! Even my husband who's not a fan of sponge cake loved this. The recipe is perfect as written and so easy to make. I had to substitute the lemon extract with almond because that was all I had and it was delicious. The almond combined with the orange was wonderful. I will be making this again.
