Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2012
So good! I used 2 cups chicken broth and 1 cup beer instead of water. Added creole seasoning to taste with seasoned salt and pepper. Also, instead of chicken I added cooked cocktail shrimp about 4 hours before serving. Served over rice with hot cornbread.n yum!

I use chunk canned chicken breasts and just break them up with a fork. I then follow the recipe but do add cheese and meat mixture and use flour tortillas. Delicious!

Garlic Top Sirloin Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
Without question the best roast ever. I seasoned with seasoned salt, pepper and paprika. Slit 5 garlic gloves, slit, and placed them in pot roast and put in saran wrap in fridge overnight. Used my dutch oven and placed new potatoes, baby carrots, and 1 1/2 peeled cut onion in bottom. Seasoned that and added a small can of mushrooms and splash of worstechire. Placed the roast on top and poured in can of beef broth and cup of red wine. Added bay leaf, covered and cooked on low for 7 hours. Moist, tender and scrumptous. Gravy was cooked bubbly not boiling.

Ham, Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
I took the idea of the recipe and cooked a ham slice in a skillet and cut into cubes. In a large casserole dish I put 1 can broccali cheese soup, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup Helmans, 1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup shredded chesse and the ham. I added the hashbrowns and broccali and added potato toppers, seasoned salt, pepper and garlic powder. Added half and half until creamy. Sprinkled with parmesan and baked for one hour at 375. It was delicious. Next time I will add more ham. Easy to make and I microaved the broccali 4 minutes to break it up.

Family's Creamed Spinach

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
This is amazing. I used Cream of Mushroom soup and sauteed the onions in 1 tbs butter. I added about one half cup of half and half to the roux and seasoned it generously with seasoned salt, pepper and garlic salt. I also sprinkled the roux generosuly with grated parmesan. I used a 16oz bag of frozen, chopped spinach and thawed it and dried it between two kitchen towels. I poured the mixture into a casserole dish and baked for 45 minutes at 350. I sprinkled the top with bread crumbs and parmesan. It was as good as in the fancy restaurants.

Walter's Chicken and Mac

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
Delicious! I followed the recipe except used 3 cups of cheese. I cooked three boneless chicken breasts in water seasoned with seasoned salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Then I cooked my macroni in the same mixture. I added about 1 1/2 cups of half and half to the mixture and it was moist.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
I used the leek soup and 16 oz of chopped spinach. I dried it between two kitchen towels. I used 3/4 cup Helman's Mayo and 16 oz sour cream and 4 oz water chestnuts. Next time I will use 8 oz. Added some parmesan (sprinkled mix well) and some garlic salt. I let it sit overnight in fridge and it was a huge hit! Filled the round sourdough breadbowl twice and used the bread and trisquits. A must dry!
