Dream a little Dream

If you're like me, dreams are always so fragmented that they make little to no sense, and can rarely be remembered... only bits and pieces. This morning, I awoke from a dream, looked at the clock, and jumped out of bed. Can't say that I was "ready"
to get up, but the clock told me that I was missing needed time. Pieces of the dream stayed with me, and as what I could recall took place in the kitchen, I tought I'd share, briefly.
In my dream, I was in a "familiar" kitchen - not my REAL kitchen, but a kitchen. I was preparing the evening meal for my family... mom and my sisters would be home soon. Reality, Mom lives 2000 miles away, and I have only one sister! Of course, one step
every cook takes from time to time, is to preheat the oven. Prep work having reached the place it had, I turned the oven on, and set about finishing up with the dish, or dishes, that I needed to bake.
It wasn't too much later, that I noticed the smell of something burning. I'm not talking a piece of meat on the grill that was beginning to char... I'm talking FLAMES within the oven chamber! Once I grabbed my hot pads, I opened the oven door, only to learn
that there was indeed something on fire in the oven. Apparently, I had parked my car in the oven, and had forgotten! It was a black Mercedes Sedan, the interior was on fire, and the paint beginning to burn off! Whatever could I do? I simply MUST get the
car out of the oven before anyone came home! How could I explain to my family that I'd burned up my car, because I had forgotten that it was in the oven?
Now, I'm concerned. Should I call for the men in white to come and take me away? However could I have stuffed a CAR into the oven? Or WHY, for that matter! Still, a word to the wise... before you turn on your oven to preheat, check the driveway to make
sure your car's out there, not parked someplace "stupid!"
Be happy, be healthy, be crazy - well sort of, anyway!
