From a small town in Wisconsin. I'm an only child and am currently attending college for design at a University of Wisconsin school. I have always loved to cook and became very health conscious in high school and have dealt with eating issues as well. I have always felt that it is very satisfying to make something in the kitchen that everyone loves and talks about for years to come.

My mom has gotten me into canning and now we use our canner to make pickles, applesauce, salsa and spaghetti sauce every year.
The recipe for strawberry cream-cheese bread is also my mom's specialty.
Grilling in the summer, soups and fresh bread in the winter.
My cooking triumphs
It is a triumph whenever I can make a recipe healthy and taste just as good or better than a fat and calorie laden one.
My cooking tragedies
Still have not found a zucchini bread that is low-fat yet results in highly raised, flavorful loaves. I have thrown away several bad attempts.
