Pepperoni Rolls

Altho this recipe is very good, on this side of PA. we all deep fry them instead of baking in an oven...they come out crispier and really delicious, sprinkle with a little pretzel salt when they come out... Very Yummmy ; )

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)

My Polish Grand Mother made these all the time, and she even added prunes that were soaked in hot water first before putting them into a Pierogi, talk about YUM...lol... Tab did up a great recipe here, just follow her directions...and for those maybe having a little trouble making them, try freezing them over night before you put them in the boiling water...sometimes they seal a bit better :)

A very refreshing drink to sit back and relax with...even kids would like this!! I cannot understand the ratings some people have given this tho...They say they liked it a lot, but have only given a few stars??? Hmmm, if I like something a lot, I give a lot of stars!!!

Turkey in a Bag

Have always used Turkey bags for turkey's, hams, chickens, etc., they are awesome on clean-up...If I could have, I would have given this one 100 stars...lol Thanks for putting this on here DYCLARK, now other's who have never used cooking bags WILL!!!

Key West Chicken

This is a VERY good recipe, but if you'd like the real taste of Key West, try using Key Limes for the juice of lime in the recipe...it DOES have a very different taste from a regular lime... Good Job Tina B. for the recipe tho!!!!

Amish Slaw

This is an EXCELLENT version of Real Amish Slaw!!! You won't be sorry you made it!!! Follow the recipe for the dressing tho...it DOES need all of that dressing to be authentic, and to last a little longer than a regular slaw would! Definitely 5 stars!!!

Mom's Country Gravy

This is basically the way I have been doing it for years, but instead, I don't add any oils or butters, and just use what comes off of the sage pork sausage I fry into large crumbles, then add the flour and cook it for a little bit, I do not whisk, but use spatula to mix... then add evaporated milk, lots of pepper, some basil, little salt, add some garlic powder to your families taste,(our's like lots ; ), then keep cooking until it tastes & is in the consistiency your family likes -we serve our's over biscuits--Yum ; ) so it's just: 1lb. Sage pork sausage-Bob Evans or Jimmy Dean's we use here 3/4 cup all purpose Flour 1 1/2 cans Evaporated milk---NOT sweetened milk Pepper-to taste Basil-to taste Salt-to taste Garlic Powder-to taste

I've not tried this recipe yet but it sounds fantastic! And the way I calculate it turning out should be pretty easy also which is why I gave it such a good rating-so I'm REALLY looking forward to trying this one out!

My Daughter-In-Law, Kresta made this for our Thanksgiving Dinner 2009, and it was TERRIFIC!!! VERY beautiful presentation, and she did EXCELLENT AT IT TOO ; ) She filled it with a variety of different homemade rolls she made also...You won't be disappointed if you decide to make this!!
