My mom's mix of Russian recipes with her Italian influence. Also, trying to reproduce the love my mom put into each of her dishes.
My cooking triumphs
Successfully making my mom's Stuffed Cabbage and it actually tasting like hers.
My cooking tragedies
Italian Easter bread. One year when making the Easter bread (I make many batches and give out to many friends and family members.) Forgot to add yeast into one of the batches and had very flat bread - but still tasted pretty good.
