All Day Macaroni and Cheese
This turned out more curdled than creamy. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. I added sun dried tomatoes and bacon and all I can say is this was a waste of bacon and sun dried tomatoes. I will stick with the "old fashioned" Mac-N-Cheese made with a white sauce then baked in the oven.

Easy Cashew Sea Salt Toffee
Checking all sorts of toffee recipes I got out my candy thermometer, my heavy saucepan and figured I would be in the kitchen all night. About 8 minutes in the microwave and a few minutes scattering nuts on a Silpat I have a really good batch of toffee. Who'da thunk! This will go to friends at a lunch tomorrow so I will have to make another batch...or two...or three. Cashews...Almonds...Macadamia Nuts not to mention playing with a mix of dark and white chocolate. Now to figure out what to do with my candy thermometer!

Triple Layer Cookie Bars by EAGLE BRAND(r)
I guess I can't leave well enough alone... I started out making these exactly as written but just before pouring the chocolate over the top I though to myself..."self I bet some toasted almonds would taste real good under the chocolate" so I did what I commanded and chopped and toasted some almonds. Now these are great but I am wondering if next time I should use almond butter. Will be processing almonds next time. Maybe even some for the crust. By the way they are great with the almonds!
