Triple Layer Cookie Bars by EAGLE BRAND(r)
I guess I can't leave well enough alone... I started out making these exactly as written but just before pouring the chocolate over the top I though to myself..."self I bet some toasted almonds would taste real good under the chocolate" so I did what I commanded and chopped and toasted some almonds. Now these are great but I am wondering if next time I should use almond butter. Will be processing almonds next time. Maybe even some for the crust. By the way they are great with the almonds!

Camp Cornbread
I have been making cornbread like this for years. I do not add the sugar but I do add a minced jalapeno pepper or two and a hand full of cheddar, colby or pepper jack cheese. I think the corn has a lot to do with the moistness of this.

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)
I have been "sitting" on this recipe for about 1 year. I have given it to people but had not made it until last night. Super easy. Fast and I was quite surprised at how good it was. I made a ganache just in case the cake was a bit dry. I did not have to use it although we did just cuz ganache is so darned good! My niece is one of many that can not have wheat and this was for her birthday and it did not fail. Now I am wondering how it would be with dark chocolate chips rather than semi sweet....and maybe white chocolate I am just concerned about the color with white chocolate (any ideas would be welcome)
