Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2013
I took Scout99's suggestion and layered it instead of mixing it all together, and I just loved it. Great appearance, and so super yummy!

Made this for supper, followed the recipe except I added broccoli. I am definately glad I did, I loved what the broccoli added to it. Definately would make again!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
We love this recipe, and I found the video so helpful! The only thing I do differently, is double the hot sauce in the sauce part of the recipe...we like them spicy and it cuts down on the butter.

Easy Crustless Zucchini Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
This recipe was easy, and very tasty. Loved the texture. I put it in an 11 x 7 pan and it took about 40 minutes and it was well browned and puffy. The only thing I changed was that I put pre-cooked bacon pieces on the top before baking.

5 stars without the almond extract and the cinnamon doubled. Best snickerdoodles I've ever had.

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

Reviewed: May 19, 2012
This recipe is perfect, no changes needed. Look no further! I made without a bread machine. I mixed the yeast and brown sugar, then added the warm water. Put 2 cups flour in bowl, add yeast mixture, stir well with spoon. Then add 2 more cups flour, and fold in with your hands. Let rest til double in size, then shape into loaves. The egg/water mixture makes the perfect topping, and if you want to season with oregano and parm cheese, it sticks on great! I did that and made subs with it. So good! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Homemade Albondigas Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2012
This soup is okay...I think I prefer Italian Wedding Soup over this one. The meatballs were good. I just didn't care for the potatoes and carrots in the soup, and the broth was really bland. Needs a little something added, but not sure what, maybe some crushed red pepper.

Grilled Wild Duck Breast

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
Was so good. Totally tasted like steak. I did the salt water thing and then marinated them for 8 or 9 hours and they were really good. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
We love this recipe! I do not use beer though. To me, it makes the most sense to put the tomatoes and the chicken in the crock pot for 4-6 hours, then cut chicken, replace it and add the rest of the ingredients, then let that cook 2 more hours. Why cook the already cooked beans all day? We prefer Fritos corn chips over the tortilla chips with this. Thanks for the recipe!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I've been making this recipe, just a litte diffently. I use a handful of fresh baby spinach, chopped and sharp cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella. I chop my spinach and artichokes in my Tupperware chopper and that has made this so fun to make. We think this beats anything we've ever had in a restaurant. People seem to think I am a good cook when I make this!!!!

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This was really yummy. I think you could add sliced or diced zuchinni or asparagus pieces. I prefer linguine pasta over penne. Great recipe, but high in cholesterol. Thanks for the recipe!

Zippy Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
This is a great base recipe. I like bacon instead of the texture of sausage. Also, I add fresh torn baby spinach, fresh sauteed mushrooms, and saute the onions for a healthier twist. We love it and I made it for my family and they loved it too!

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
We are beef farmers and dried beef is in the freezer. This is just about the only way we like dried beef. I was looking here for more ideas of what to make with it and found that I had already tried them all: chicken bake, creamed beef, and overnight casserole. Our favorite way of eating creamed beef is either over fried hash browns or waffles. I always seasoned this with a little bit of nutmeg and beef broth and seasoning powder, but tonight I will try the pepper.

Fajita Marinade I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
Thanks for this wonderful marinade recipe! I used black pepper and crushed red pepper spice since I didn't have cayenne pepper. Nice tender steak with a little kick! I also don't use liquid smoke since it may not be good for the body. On the toasted tortilla I put on about a tablespoon of sour cream, then the steak, the sauteed onions and peppers, some salsa and a little bit of shredded cheddar cheese. You can even add spinach if you like to, you'll hardly know it is there! Thank you, thank you! We are beef farmers and I never knew what to do with all the sirloin steaks we get. Now they'll get used up first instead of last!

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
Thanks for this great recipe! I made it this morning and substitued 1 cup canola oil in place of the butter and it was still a great moist cake. It came out looking fabulous. Next time I'll try doubling the filling or maybe poking some holes in it and then pour a 10X sugar glaze on it.
