Decadent Peanut Butter Pie

Wonderful recipe! If you really enjoy peanut butter, you'll love this. Made it just as the recipe directs, but substituted powdered sugar due to the large size of the sugar grains here in Asia. Look at some of the pictures posted by others to get ideas for decorating and adding additional toppings, if interested. All the peanut butter lovers in my family agreed this is a keeper.

Pastry for Double Pie-Crust

Super Sausage Gravy

Very simple, very tasty! Following the recipe will yeild a great result. I added a little more flour and milk, to increase the gravy to sausage ratio and make it go a little further. Hard to mess this up.

Golden Crescent Rolls

Made according to the recipe. The taste was fantastic, the kids enjoyed them fresh and reheated the next day. They were not as fluffy as I would have liked. I will make them again and try to keep the dough more elastic and add rising time. The flavor makes it well the extra attempt. UPDATE: Made it again keeping the dough much more moist and the rolls rose better and were much lighter. Incresed from 4 to 5 stars.

Absolute Mexican Cornbread

Excellent recipe. I followed the direction exactly and it turned out picturesque. Would probably still be very nice with half the butter, but why? Rather mild, so I will double the green chili peppers next time. Great with beans, chili or just plain!

Sweet Corn Cake

Very good recipe. I used all the recommended quantities, but substituted creamed corn for frozen corn. I followed the directions exactly and it turned out very nice. I also used the remaining whipping cream to make sweet whipped cream topping. The hot cake topped with cold whipped cream was superb even the next day. This recipe is a keeper.
