Asian Coconut Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
I really enjoyed the subtlety of flavor in this rice and found it to be a great base for any Asian Style dish if you want to change things up a bit. I had it with Chicken Keleguin since I couldn't find a red rice recipe I trusted. There were plenty of leftovers, since there's only two of us that eat rice in this household, so the next morning I warmed it up added a bit more sugar, raisins, and cinnamon which made a nummy breakfast.

Traditional Chicken Keleguin

Awsome flavor combination. I cut the pepper flakes down to just 1tbsp so that it wouldn't be too hot for everyone.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Awsome! My husband loved it and it was so easy to make :D The only thing I found missing was chicken broth but I just used the broth from the boil and it still turned out wonderful.

Cranberry Chicken II

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
'Cranberry Chicken' is something my family has been making for years, though, a bit differently. I came across this recipe and thought I'd test it out because it's very similar. The only change I made when making it is adding some worcestershire sauce. I figured that the onion soup mix was a good idea but it ended up making the flavor too 'onioney' and the sauce too runny. I usually make this recipe minus the onion soup mix with a tad worcestershire sauce and some onion powder or sauteed onions. The sauce turns out much thicker and makes a better gravy. You can also substitute Russian dressing for the French dressing.
