Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
I have a new name for this recipe.......OMG Chicken! Because that was the first word out of everyone's mouth who tasted it! The butter/spice infusion made the chickens skin so crispy and beautiful golden brownish red, Looked like a real rotisserie chicken, but even better! I would love to do a small turkey this way for Thanksgiving, I used a 24 oz beer can w awesome results! Thank you so much Barrie

Chocolate Dipped Apples

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
I chose to make smore's chocolate apples, I first dipped in chocolate (used ghiradelli semisweet bars), let cool a bit at room temp (the toppings will drip off if you don't cool the chocolate first I waited till the chocolate started to get a little shiny), then sprinkled with mini semisweet chips, rolled in crushed graham crackers, stuck on mini marshmallows by hand =P then after cooling in fridge on parchment until chocolate hardens, I melted some white chocolate and drizzled them. Put back in fridge till set. Quarter them for easier eating.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
These brownies are very good if you are looking for a super sweet, decadent, and dense brownie. And if you are a dark chocolate fan, they had a dark chocolate taste to me. A little too intense in sweetness and chocolate ( I know, sounds weird but it is possible) for my fam but still a good recipe for those who like their brownies the way I mentioned above.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
recipe is great as it is! I didn't have cider vinegar on hand and had to use rice wine vinegar, I recommend not using that! It was a little too tangy. I got some cider vinegar this time =) my husband loves this and he is asian and it's really hard to find asian recipes he likes, Thank you Marian! You scored a 5 from my asian husband. PS- use the whole amount of sugar, teriyaki should be sweet =)

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
great recipe! But, it did need alot of seasoning for my family, I added garlic salt and some sea salt, I would not use the cinnamon next time it gave it a weird flavor, maybe 1/2 the cinnamon next time? It almost made it smell like tripe in menudo while its cooking......sorry. But very good besides that =)

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
would probably taste good to those who drink tomato or v8 juice, I thought the 2 quarts tomato juice made it very acidic, but that might be a part of the weight loss secret....I couldn't even eat it but I do not like tomato type drinks, would taste much better with maybe 1 qt tomato juice and 1 qt vegetable or chicken broth, and would still be healthy, sorry I am not a picky eater but this was unedible for me :(

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Nut Muffins

I also used SukeyNY's addition of 1/2 cup more milk and an extra tablespoon of oil, and I used a heaping 1/2 teaspoon of salt. These muffins are awesome and taste very similar to those delicious Costco chocolate muffins you buy in the bakery, 5 stars on this one thank you!!!
