Herbed Mushrooms with White Wine

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
These are delicious and easy. I personally added more garlic and wine because my plan was to pour the mushrooms over some baked chicken, and I wanted the flavor to be strong enough. It turned out great!

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I'm from South Texas, so I know my mexican food, and this is how it is amazing! I added some black beans and rice, and shredded the chicken after it had been simmering a while. With the added ingredients I'll probably add another can of broth next time. Avocado slices are really good on top.

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
These are great! Nice and healthy. I put it over some brown rice and it's really nice to chop up the bell pepper and mix up everything with rice. Yum.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
These are yummy! I used my Foreman Grill, but if I hadn't I'm sure they would have melted through the grill, like half of the mix stuck to my hand. I coated the patties with bread crumbs to make a nice crispy outside and I cooked it on my preheated grill for 10 minutes. I could probably have done it for 9 and it would still have been good.

Sherry Sour Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I changed my recipe a bit..I sauteed some minced garlic, onion, and sliced fresh mushrooms in some olive oil and added that to the soup mixture. I also seasoned the chicken breasts with lemon juice and seasoned salt and pepper before adding the soup mixture. It was amazing.

Fruited Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
I loved this! made a few modifications based on what I had on hand but it was great no matter what. A healthy alternative would definately be to use nonfat plain yogurt instead of mayo.

Banana Berry Smoothie II

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
So creamy and delicious! I added more yogurt and more honey just to make it sweeter and creamier. oh and more strawberries because the banana flavor was a bit strong for me. Well looking at my modifications I could have just cut down on the banana..

Pork Chops with Delicious Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
This was one of the first recipes I got off of this site and to be honest, looking at the gravy ingredients I was pretty skeptical. It actually sounds gross putting that stuff together but it came out great! Even my picky boyfriend likes it which suprised me. Next time I'm going to double the gravy and also try to make it a little thinner.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This is delish. I cooked it on my George Foreman grill which I usually don't do with chicken, since it cooks it too fast an makes it tougher, and it was still nice and juicy!! I even marinaded mine for a couple days and it turned out great. I did substitute with olive oil, reduced sodium soy sauce, regular yellow mustard, and omitted the salt. I suggest making the 32 servings but keep what you don't use for later. Also...I marinaded green bell peppers, tomato, and onion and grilled them and they were amazing!

Spinach and Feta Pita Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This is such a quick and easy recipe! I think it tastes better than regular pizza! One thing i change is that instead of using pesto or any type of sauce, i just lay down some slices of cherry tomato(i like their flavor the most) so the bread doesnt get so soggy but you still have the tomato flavor that is a must for this recipe.

Blue Cheese and Dried Cranberry Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
This is an amazing salad! I personally don't add the cucumbers and walnuts. The combination of tomato, blue cheese, and cranberry works so well together, sometimes i just skip the lettuce and eat that by itself! I use oil and red wine vinegar as my dressing and the flavor is perfect.
