Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2014
Excellent! I made this pie with the exact ingredients in the recipe. I used Granny Smith apples. I took the suggestion from another review and drained the apple filling before putting it into the pie shell. The pie turned out moist but not soggy with lots of flavour. If I hadn't drained the apples I think the pie would have been soggy. Loved the topping but I think I would prefer a bit less of it. Also, I baked the pie for an additional 10 to 15 min, but that maybe just be my oven.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2012
I made this chilli yesterday for the first time. Put it in my crock pot and simmered on low for 8 hrs. The only change I made was adding some frozen corn to it. My husband and I both really enjoyed it! Keep in mind this chilli is not the thick and chunky type. It's not very spicy either. I like it this way myself. I will make this again. Thanks so much!

I really liked this - even though I'm not usually a fan of soup. Used a touch of fresh lemon juice as suggested in another review. Based on ingredients I had on hand used: fresh spinach and penne pasta. Penne worked fine but had to boil soup a bit longer. Loved the flavour that the cayenne pepper brings to the dish.
