Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake by EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
I used this recipe for Thanksgiving and it was superb! The best thing is the crust.......no graham crackers. I will only make this crust now for all my different cheesecake recipes. It's the best! MG

I've made many kinds of biscotti and I think I found my favorite! I added 1 T. of maple syrup and some chopped walnuts. Excellent!

Jamaican Jerk Pork Chops with Island Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2006
Wasn't that crazy about this recipe, but since have adapted the salsa ingredients and mixed them with rice as a nice side dish with grilled chicken or pork tenderloin. We love it!Sometimes add chopped mango to the rice too.

Chicken Fiesta Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
This was really good but I thought it needed a little zing! I squeezed a lime over the chicken and garnished with chopped cilantro and crushed tortilla chips. Made it better in my opion!

Steak Tips with Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
I made this yesterday using sirloin steak. I didn't grill the steak since it was 20 degrees outside. Just browned in the pan and it was great.Didn't have shallots, but you don't need,'cause you're using garlic anyway. All you really need is some regular onion. We made homemade fettucine noodles with it. Yum!

Crunchy Turkey Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
Very good way to use up that leftover turkey. I added a few Tablespoons of my cranberry/orage relish to it. Yum! Nice summer salad I would think.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Yummy....yummy! Wouldn't change a thing in the ingredients, but would bake only 30 min. next time. A little overbaked. Especially nice with rice.

Pear Bread I

I didn't think Pear Bread would have much flavor but I had alot of pears to use up. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a moist and delicious bread. My husband loves it.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2004
Great dish! The recipe didn't say to chop the garlic, but I did and it was too overpowered by garlic. Next time I will leave them whole. Very Good!

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2004
Don't expect "cheesecake", but a very delicious bar. Nice for snacking or cut larger and serve w/whipped cream.Comes out very thin. We loved it. Freezes well too.I put the pecans on first and then the pumpkin. That way you won't risk buring the nuts.

Fruit Kuchen

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2004
Very Good recipe! I made one each with cherries, pears, and plumbs. Surprisingly the pear one was the best. One note: I think a second rising is needed after the dough is divided into the 3 pans. It would make for a lighter cake.Delicious!!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

I doubled the recipe and baked it in a 13x9 pan with good results. I also used Apricot Spreadable Fruit (low in sugar)instead of the raspberry jam. It was really good.

Apple Filled Chicken in Pecan Creme Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
I thought this would be alot more flavorful than it turned out to be. The sauce belongs on a dessert, not chicken! I only used 2 T. of sugar and it was still too sweet. Vanilla is a mistake too!

Chicken Suiza Cornbread Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
Very good! This is like a combination of two different dishes that I make. Chicken Enchiladas and a Corn Casserole. I used Cream of Chicken Soup instead of mushroom, and ommitted the jar of mushrooms. I just thought that sounded better. Also used whole can of green chillies and real eggs. (2) Will make again.

This is the best! Rich but delicious! Only thing I do different is use less Escarole. I think one bunch is enough.

Pecan Dijon Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2004
With a few adjustments this is very good. The first time I found the 6 T. of Dijohn to be too overpowering, so I cut back to only 4 T. Also I added a little more honey. Don't use the ground mustard. It would be way too mustardy!
