Hamburgers - It's in the Bun

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
In response to those who thought it was so simple that a recipe was unnecessary...I'm so glad I saw this. I'm a novice cook, especially with meat, so this was what I needed. Some of us still need recipes for the simplest meals. And this one was both simple and delicious! I just added lots of Worchestershire.

Teri-Chester Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
This sounds wonderful. I give it 5 stars based on the recipe and plan to give it the same after I try it. I love these flavors. I might try switching the amounts of soy and Worcestershire, because I love Worcestershire sauce! And I am looking for chicken microwave recipes.

Sweet Lime Iced Tea

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
This sounds great, but when I make it, I might reduce the sugar. I'm more of a tart than sweet kind of person. Also, I wonder what half-lime and half-lemon might taste like!

Lemon Zucchini and Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2010
I substituted red wine vinegar, because I do not like balsamic. It was wonderful! I might try adding a little more lemon next time, to see what happens.

Marmite Mince

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
My British friend introduced me to marmite and I love it! I'm going to try this using Morningstar meatless crumbles or veggie burgers, and mushroom bouillon and veggie gravy mix. I'll let you all know how it turns out. I'm so glad to see a recipe using marmite here. I always just have it on a bagel with butter, but I'm sure there's plenty more I can do with it.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
This is a great recipe! I am just learning to cook and made this for the first time last night. I chopped up cheese sticks in the food processor to get the mozzarella, which worked really well. Tomato and basil sauce from a jar eliminated the basil, which I didn't have. There were only two of us, so I used 3 little eggplants. At first, I thought I'd have leftovers for days, but that wasn't the case at all! It's nearly gone! The only thing is that I salted the eggplant and no moisture was coming out after 15 minutes, so I rinsed it and continued on with the recipe. I probably wasn't supposed to do that, but I'm impatient! It still was great! I will definitely make this again! I will read up more on if it is really necessary to purge the eggplant or not, before I make this again, though.
