the wife likes serena ryder'e stompa...she was turtling...yep head-bobbing. i like it too both turtling and serena. never stay with queen 10 suited before the flop in no limit. low-sodium chicken broth actually tastes decent. reminder add butter to black-eye-peas.  bass will bite crawfish-colored  rattling crank-baits fished slow in 50 degree water. taxidermists are expensive. peteys' blogs inspire me do more. always read something you find interesting before going to bed while you are eating chocolate. especially chocolate with almonds. hug your family, call them...better yet write them a real letter and remember something they helped or improved your life. donate your time to something. my glasses or out of date...like my shoes. new converses make me happy. red high-top converses almost want me to live in french lick, indiana. fish tastes better on the lakeside where you caught them. blondes really are smart. cats really serve no purpose except to bed-hog. i could have been rich...but the wife gave birth to daughters...they would have been great left-handed starters for the braves  if male.i'm thinking of a tropical island in the  south pacific....a place where all drinks are served with fresh coconut and little umbrellas. is there anything better then left-over ham. i have a full tank of gas. spring is less then 2 weeks away...summer is coming! i need a haircut...do mostly bald guys get a break at the barbers. why should i pay taxes. why haven't i planted the snow peas yet. what should i do with the durian. is the lumineers the real deal.. going to atlanta tomorrow, should we change neurosurgeons. is the wall street journal worth the cost. italy or brazil. why is gas so high., heck why is bacon so high.why are our friends taken from us. mondays have the best television shows now. i'm bored reading this . i've got a fancy new wall oven but don't use it. have you renewed your drivers licsense. i've had to many sport cars, but i want another one. can you really make a pie crust. breakfast is easy. i need to teach someone to swim.......dang, did i say random! i need a....

Gary: Oh, my! Yes, taxidermy is very expensive. I love ham. I have less than half a tank of gas. And I've only driven to work twice! No haircut discount for predominately bald guys. Neurosurgeons? Is Claire doing okay? Bacon is expensive, but it's cheaper than fuel. I still have a couple years left on my driver's license. I can make pie crust, but it's challenging. I'm not a very good swimmer.

Petey's blogs inspire me too. Love chocolate in bed. With microwave popcorn. And sometimes a margarita. Called my sister after reading your blog. Hugged my Dad, but do that every night. Love to write real letters. Will take 1 real letter over a thousand emails any day. Love high heels. But can't seem to bust away from flip flops any more. You think a cat is a bed hog, try two 70 pound greyhounds. I live on a sailboat on an island in the south...Atlantic. Not always the paradise people think it is. Still wouldn't trade it for anything. Especially the drinks with little umbrellas. And not paying taxes. What the heck is a durian. Have no oven on my boat. Cook off of a campstove. Have no drivers license because I take a kayak to work. Wasn't bored at all reading your post. Keep it all coming. I like your brain.

petey's blogs seems to inspire almost everyone! I have a full tank of gas and work from home. And like Cat Hill, I am SO done with snow! I ordered vegetable and herb plants yesterday to cheer me up on a cold and rainy Wisconsin day. I garden, therefore I am...NOT a master gardener.

Yes, I have a bad haircut and I'm going back today, full tank of gas, sent a card to dear friend that's in a funk. I'm good! How are you, Gderr? I love your latest photo, btw. Truly hope all is well with Claire (the champion).

Chicago was great. Snow flurries can go back from whence they came. Socks? Where do socks go when they get lost? Chocolate covered strawberries make me happy. Broken fridge does not. Carrot cake quest. Engineers can be anal retentive sometimes. I should know, I work with 'em. Love your random thoughts.

About Me
i enjoy cooking. the wife considers it a chore. i hate yard work. she loves it. we mesh. i love bass fishing, reading, music, baseball, college football and my family.
My favorite things to cook
i love vegetables, soups, and italian cusine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
holidays are a big deal! christmas is my time to shine. i try to add a new recipe each year, but the family demands pretty much the same menu. kinda frustrating!
My cooking triumphs
i cared for my mother in law about 3 months when she had shattered her shoulder. i didn't work, so money was tight. we survived on only wife's paycheck during that time. ma-n-law had diet restrictions. it was difficult to make cheap, nutritious meals everyone would eat. we prospered as a family and learned alot about each other's strenghths and weaknesses.
My cooking tragedies
a stove top fire. i explained that one already. the grill falling over was another one...oops grill season is here! i love the tragedies...those are the ones that i'll always remember!
