Pork Butt Roast with Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
Absolutely delicious! Tender and juicy. I used a 3 3/4# roast and rubbed it with Montreal Steak Seasoning rather than the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. I did use the onions, but no other vegetables. Also, I used 3 1/2c. of chicken broth along with 1c. of water. Roast was cooked perfectly in 2 1/2 hrs.

Christmas Red Pickles

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
These are awesome! Gave them away as Christmas gifts last year and now that the cucumbers in the garden are abundant people are calling to "request" them again this year! They do take some time....but they really are worth it! Has anyone tried this recipe using Ball Pickle Crisp granules yet?

Green Banana Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2012
I am quite surprised! I had bananas that would not ripen and was considering taking them back to the store and then came a cross this recipe. The only trouble I had was peeling the banana....even with a knife it was rather difficult. I only fried one banana but it was absolutely delicious! VERY much like regular french fries! Thank you for this idea!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2014
This is an excellent recipe. I usually use the sweetened condensed milk recipe from Borden, but it's not really the "creamy" fudge we enjoy, so I decided to try this one. This is much creamier. I do not think it's too sweet as others have mentioned. It was delicious! This will be my new go to recipe for fudge.

BBQ Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
Absolutely the best ever! Falling off the bone tender and super moist and tasty! Followed the recipe with the exception of time/temp. Baked for 1 1/2 hrs at 325 and another 40 min. at 250 after adding the BBQ sauce.

Shredded Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I rated these five stars because of the filling. It was excellent! I do, however, think that enchiladas traditionally have a nice red sauce over them rather than the cheese sauce....although the cheese sauce DID also have a great taste.

Venison Bacon Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
Everyone who has tried these at our backyard cookouts has loved them! Even people who don't care for venison really enjoyed them. They are moist due to the addition of the bacon. No more dry venison burgers! Thank you for posting your recipe, Lupin.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
This is excellent. Easily tweaked to suit your own tastes, but is very good as is. I added 1 t. cornstarch and beef base to 1 1/3# of ground turkey with 1c. of water and it was a perfect blend and consistency.

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Had this for supper tonight. Was very good. The only thing I did differently is to add a can of mexican style corn along with the creamed corn and I used about a cup of canned diced tomatoes instead of the fresh tomato. (because I have them leftover in the fridge) Was quick and delicious.

Red Flannel Hash

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
I canned beets yesterday and had a few leftover. This recipe was a good way to use them up. I added a little onion powder and omitted the vinegar. Husband and I agree....delicious! thank you for posting.
