Beer Batter Fish Made Great
We eliminated the salt and added Paprika instead - WOW. Used halibut as well and this turned out to be the best battered fish I have ever had

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil
My husband, the Newfoundlander, loved this. As suggested by other reviewers, I decreased the oil to a few tablespoons, added red pepper flakes and mushrooms. I also added about a lb of bay scallops and doubled the shrimp. I used fresh parsley from my garden and it was great. For the non fish lovers, I think this would be good with italian sausage or without any meat or seafood at all. The flavours of the herbs are distinct and robust - awesome. I aslo added fresh ground black pepper

Boston Baked Beans
After reading some reviews, I was concerned that this recipe may be too sweet, so I reduced the brown sugar to 3 tbsps and it came out perfect. My husband hates beans and molasses but has asked for this dish again already. I served it on Good Friday with Newfoundland Cod Cakes - a perfect match. Next, I'll serve it with italian sausage. A definite keeper
